Mission at Bethany
Koinonia Mission Company (KMC)
KMC is a
group of adults who wish to do volunteer construction work one week per
year at so
me location away from Rochester. When asked, members of this group
also will do simple home maintenance and repair work for fellow members of Bethany.
The group was revived in 2005 after a five year hiatus under a new name, Bethany Mission Workers (BMW). The group decided to return to our roots in 2008 and rename ourselves KMC (Koinonia Mission Company). The group went on a week mission trip to Cumberland, Maryland in August 2006 and to Morgantown, West Virginia in August 2007, August 2008 and October 2009 to work for Habitat for Humanity. In August 2010 our work week was in Salem, Ohio with their Habitat for Humanity. View pictures from our August 2007 mission trip. KMC is returning to Salem, Ohio for our 2011 trip, September 11th - 17th.

Greece Foodshelf
We support this organization with the food contributions that many of you make each Sunday morning in the narthex. Many Bethany members participate by being active members on the board, drivers, callers, box preparers and a number of other positions. It is a quiet but necessary outreach into the Greece and Charlotte community of need.

Youth Mission Trip - Heifer Project
The youth of Bethany went on their third annual Heifer mission trip in 2009 to Connecticut. The kids had a wonderful experience as you can see too.
